Mastercraft Maximum Rotary Tool Manuals

Hey guys,Just wanted to inquire about why Mastercraft MAXIMUM's rotary tool is nowhere to be found on their website. It is only found by local buyers that are selling them now.and the tool is like a dremel but maximum brand.

I have seen the regular mastercraft rotary tool (I don't know how well it works) but does anyone know why the maximum one has dissapeared? Is it because of bad customer reviews? Change in suppliers? Contract problems with the company that produces them? Lawsuit from Dremel? Lol.I'm trying to think of anything that may explain why but not sure. This is mastercraft MAXIMUM one I am talking about:I wanted to post a picture but you need the picture hosted on some other site first right?I see the regular blue mastercraft rotary tool.

T3359, thanks for that link. Yes that is the same one I was talking about. I know they exist on kijiji.I was just wondering why it was removed from Canadian Tire Stores. Hmmm.and Capt, I agree 100% with you. I believe in hand tools. Put the elbow grease in, and it will never fail you (provided that the steel is forged and treated right).

Mastercraft Max handtools are just as good as snap on's, matco's, gray canada, etc. In this day and age with tons of out sourcing to China, it doesn't really matter what brand is slapped on.alot of tools are rebranded anyways. And people know the processes to make wrenches, sockets, etc by now. So in the 70s.the companies like snapons would have been in amazing quality unsurpassed by other competitors at that time.but as times change better practices have evolved and any brand can really make a tool as good as one made by snapon provided they follow the same manufacturing steps. But like with a company like Gray Canada.if their tools are made in Canada, then it goes to support their workers when you buy their tools. I like to buy some of their hand tools when I can, I want to support our industries.I've actually been looking at getting a die grinder, but powered by electricity NOT by air.

Last thing I want is to have to lug around an air compressor for that. Kinda sucks that there's only 2 extremes. On one end you got Princess Auto 50$ one.and on the other hand you got a 200$ Makita die grinder.

No in-between. I wanted to know if I could use a die grinder as a spin-saw/ rotary tool. That should work right? It'd make the tool more versatile.I could use it for woodworking, AND automotive work where it needs an higher RPM.

Harbor Freight

Usually dremels/spin-saws/rotary tools go to around 10,000rpm.where as die grinders seem to go to 22,000rpm or a bit more.
